The “WTT Youth Contender Tashkent 2025” international table tennis tournament, held under the auspices of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), took place from May 28 to 31 at the Humo Arena complex in Tashkent.
This was the first time Uzbekistan hosted such an international table tennis competition. The tournament brought together more than 300 athletes from 16 countries, competing in five age categories: U11, U13, U15, U17, and U19.
The tournament played a key role in strengthening the international rankings of participating athletes, promoting table tennis in Uzbekistan, and preparing young players for future major global events.
Uzbek athletes delivered strong performances — the tournament featured 87 representatives from Uzbekistan, including 46 girls.
Results of our athletes:
• 9 reached the semifinals
